Stress Relieving Adult Coloring Book

Want to color a page and finish it in under and hour, maybe in just 30 minutes? This is your book! There are quite a few different patterns mixed into the designs. The images do not take up the whole page so I have begun to go back to some of the pages and add my own artwork to color.
The pages are not perforated so use a blotter page underneath. The paper is a bit thicker than copy paper. The pages have a little bit more texture than some of the other books I have. The paper takes pencils, gel pens and markers well.

The designs allow you to relax and zone out while coloring, not worrying about what colors to use. Anything goes. The quotes on the back of each page are a nice little pick me up.

A Day in the Life of Mom coloring book

This book shows what a day in the life of a real mom is like. Whether your children are young or fully grown, you will enjoy this one. There are messy rooms and sinks full of dirty dishes, along with a mom and her children spending time together. All the images depict indoor rooms/areas. Images are printed one one side and the pages are not perforated. After each image is a page that tells a bit of a story, leading you up to the next page to color. It's a lighthearted look at stressful times as a parent. The paper is just a hair thicker than copy paper. Try this one out. It will make you smile.

Mavel Dog Toys for Dogs & Puppies

I have a 14 lb mini schnauzer and he loves to push this ball around and eat up all the kibble. When there is no kibble in it, he has no desire to play with it. My dog doesn't like the hard rubber toys to chew on. I put his food in the ball or small treats. They fall out fairly easy. It's a bit heavier than I expected so I wouldn't recommend throwing it around indoors. My mini  isn't as aggressive a chewer like some dogs so I'm not sure how it would stand up to them.

Cell Phone Holder plus Desktop Stand

The flexible arm cell phone holder has a flaw. It's at the base of the flexible arm where it attaches to the clip. There is too much play in the arm at the base and once positioned and let go, the arm starts to fall slowly. In order to keep this from happening, take about 20 mins to reposition the arm to curl in two places so as to balance the phone. It will stay. The problem is that now the phone is much closer to the desk than I need it to be. I cannot zoom out enough to get a picture or video of say, a book. The camera is too close. I've used another stand which is made a bit different that works so much better. I don't recommend this one.
The desktop stand is awesome! I use it everyday. It's adjustable for different angles.

I love this book! The binding makes it easy to fold, as you can see in the photos I uploaded. Just a small amount of pressure is all that is needed to keep the book open to the page you want to color. Each page is perforated so you can remove a page and work on it with any medium you wish. This book contains a variety of images. Some are simple and some are more intricate. The paper weight is a bit thicker than copy paper but not as thick as card stock. This paper will take pencils, gel pens and markers well. Some mediums will bleed through so be sure to use a blotter paper underneath or tear out the page before you start. Then, you can frame the completed page or place it in a binder.
Because of the variety of images, this is one of my favorite books. Some pages I can finish in a few hours. Some take a few days. This is just one of 4 books I own by the same publisher.

Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils

If your hands hurt from coloring, buy this set! I have a large callus on my finger from using harder core pencils. Since using the soft core Prismas, the callus has gotten a bit better and is no longer sore. I purchased this set when on sale for under $95, which is an amazing deal. The pencils are the most vibrant out of any brand and require very little pressure. Use light pressure and several layers to get the vibrant colors that professional artists do. The Prismacolor Premiers blend easier than any other pencil I have used. Yes the pencils are a bit fragile, but just treat them kindly and they will repay you in your artistic endeavors.

Valentia Eternal Youth Exfoliating Scrub

This is a good scrub for sensitive skin. Most others I've used are too rough and I end up with a red face for hours. I use this twice a week religiously. Afterward my skin feels silky smooth. I use a microdermabrasion tool once a week at home so I use this scrub on the alternate days. It helps to remove dry skin and leaves a fresh feeling on your face. I don't usually like facial scrubs because of bad reactions in the past, but this one passes with flying colors. Four stars because I feel like the container could have been filled up more with the product.
